As the Founder and Director of IT Renewals Ltd I am involved in consulting for various vendors throughout the world helping them to setup channels for their solutions as well as helping their customers with their archive strategies.
During my career I have worked both in Backup and Archive, Hardware and Software, but always for vendors. As a result I have been exposed to many differing views on the approaches people should take with these technologies.
This blog is really a way for me to get across what I think about these things and to share, what I hope, some people will find helpful some of my knowledge and experiences.
